We are excited to share the results of a newly-published study using the SMARTfit dual-task training system focusing on Parkinson’s Disease patients. This revolutionary piece of equipment is designed to increase the neuroplasticity in the brain to improve cognitive function, balance, and brain health.

Conducted by USC’s Neurorestoration Center in Collaboration with the Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy, the first-of-its-kind study describes the training benefits of using the gamified training platform that combines cognitive and physical tasks (dual-task training). The study found this type of training met the unique challenges of not only mitigating motor and cognitive symptoms simultaneously, but also perceived disability individuals with Parkinson’s disease experience. • Memory Loss
  • Concussion/TBI
  • Brain Fog Associated with COVID-19
  • Slow or Prevent MCI and Dementia
  • Balance to Reduce Fall Risk
  • Vestibular Rehab
