Atlantis Physical and Occupational Therapy is thrilled to announce the generous donation of a life-changing motor-assisted Theracycle by Mrs. Pat Brewster in memory of her late husband, Bob, a Parkinson’s disease patient. This remarkable contribution, made with the coordination of the Parkinson’s Foundation, will significantly enhance our ability to support individuals battling Parkinson’s disease, stroke, MS, and other neurological conditions.

The Theracycle, a specialized piece of equipment designed to assist those with Parkinson’s disease in maintaining mobility and managing symptoms, has quickly become an integral part of our clinic’s rehabilitation program. Its innovative design and functionality have allowed our patients to engage in therapeutic exercises with greater ease and effectiveness. It has been enthusiastically embraced by our patients and we are thrilled to witness the positive impact it is having on their mobility and quality of life.

“We are immensely grateful for the most gracious donation from Mrs. Brewster,” said Ruth Kurihara, PT, and co-owner of Atlantis Physical and Occupational Therapy. “Her generosity has provided our clinic with a valuable resource that is already making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. Every day we will honor Bob’s commitment to improve his quality of life and, most importantly, keep moving, which is so crucial for Parkinson’s patients. This gift is a lovely reminder of his legacy of a life well lived.

Atlantis Physical and Occupational Therapy is committed to providing exceptional care and support to individuals living with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions.
