June is Brain Health Awareness Month. Many people are not aware that there are things to help improve brain and cognitive health as well as slow the effects that may be associated with aging. Atlantis Fyzical Therapy is proud of our neuro rehabilitation program that is at the forefront of scientific evidence for Brain Health and Fitness.

The focal point of our program is the big blue interactive board called SMARTfit. It is designed to increase the neuroplasticity in the brain through dual tasking, which combines a physical and cognitive activity. Besides it is fun, engaging, challenging, and best of all patients really like it. It doesn’t get better than that.

Check out this short YouTube video to see what one of our patients has to say.
